This recipe was a hit! The whole pan was gone in the blink of an eye. This easy blondie recipe makes bars that are a little chewy and a lot addictive. You can add in all sorts of things like M&Ms, pecans, or whatever else you’d like.

Here’s the recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled

  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2 cups + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (or whatever mix-ins you would like)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.

Step 2:

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Alternatively, you can use an electric mixer.

Step 3: Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract.

Step 4:

Stir in the flour, cornstarch, and salt, ensuring there are no flour clumps.

Step 5:

Fold in the chocolate chips/mix-ins.

Step 6:

Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Step 7:

Bake for 24-28 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test! Cool fully before serving.
